THEATRE ARTS Form Two FTNA New Exam Format 2026 PDF is the official format issued by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) for assessing Theatre Arts in the Form Two National Assessment (FTNA).
It is based on the Theatre Arts Syllabus for Secondary Education (2008) and focuses on the competencies acquired by students in Forms One and Two. The revised format improves the assessment rubric and includes a table of specifications without changing the assessment content.
General Objectives
The assessment aims to determine the extent to which students can:

4. Understand theatre practices in Tanzania during pre-colonial and post-colonial eras.
5. Understand techniques of theatre performances from world theatre practices.
6. Understand performing techniques in African theatre arts.
7. Understand techniques used in selected non-African theatre arts.
