TEXTILES AND GARMENT CONSTRUCTION Form Two FTNA New Exam Format 2026 PDF is the official format issued by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) for assessing Textiles and Garment Construction in the Form Two National Assessment (FTNA).
It is based on the Home Economics Syllabus for Ordinary Secondary Education (2019) and focuses on the competencies acquired by students in Forms One and Two.
General Objectives
The assessment aims to determine the extent to which students can:
1. Analyse the choice, use, and care of sewing equipment and fabrics.
2. Apply garment process skills in constructing garments.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of designing, drafting, and using patterns in garment making.
4. Explain the manufacturing processes, care, and use of various fabrics.
5. Analyse ways of generating and managing income through tailoring activities.
