Long ago, there was a poor old woman named Nyamizi, who lived in a small hut in Nyawish village. Although she was old, she was health and strong. Due to her health and strength, she had, she lacked something.
One day she thought, “I must do something good for the people of this village so that they can remember me after my death”. She decided to plant mangoes, pawpaw, oranges, lemons, bananas and many others.
After few years the trees were covered with fruits but there was no Nyamizi to see the fruits on the trees. Everyone, young and old, rich and poor stopped to take rest and eats some fruits. They praized Nyamizi for her noble work and in this way Nyamizi became immortal.
