Form One New Syllabus Exams 2025 – Midterm, Terminal, Annual and Monthly Exams
Form One New Syllabus Exams are tests designed to assess students’ understanding of the updated curriculum introduced by the Ministry of Education for Form One students in Tanzania.
These exams follow the new competence-based syllabus, which focuses more on skills, understanding and application rather than memorization.
Purpose of Form One New Syllabus Exams
They aim to:
- Measure how well students have mastered topics taught from the new curriculum.
- Prepare students for future national examinations (Pre-NECTA, Mock, NECTA).
- Identify strengths and weaknesses in subjects covered during the year.
- Help teachers evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
