CHAPTER 3: GRAMMAR AND VOCABULARY
Chapter Three: Grammar and Vocabulary, English Form Five: Grammar and Vocabulary, Advanced Grammar and Vocabulary, Grammar Rules and Vocabulary Development, Parts of Speech and Vocabulary, Tenses and Sentence Structure, Clauses and Sentence Construction, Word Formation and Grammar, Synonyms, Antonyms and Word Usage, Common Grammar and Vocabulary Errors.
This chapter integrates two of the most critical dimensions of advanced English language competence: grammatical accuracy and stylistic vocabulary use.
At Form Five, students are expected to move beyond basic correctness toward sophistication, precision, and communicative effectiveness — the ability not only to say something grammatically acceptable but to say it in the right way, with the right words, in the right register, for the right audience and purpose.
