This assessment format is a revised version of a format issued by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania in 2017.
The revised format is based on the Civil Engineering Syllabus for Technical Secondary Schools issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in 2019.
This format accommodates some changes, such as the addition of new topics and the removal of some content.
In light of such changes, the format emphasises a competency-based assessment approach in evaluating assessment areas.
