UHAKIKI: DIWANI YA MALENGA WAPYA POETRY ANALYSIS
MALENGA WAPYA is a councilor with a collection of about thirty-seven (37) poems written by new poets (new goals).
These poets are students of the Institute of Kiswahili and Foreign Languages in Zanzibar.
In this council, the poets have discussed various issues that occur in society. Some of them are political, economic, social issues, etc.
These poets have discussed the basic issues in building a new society and if they are considered, positive changes will occur in the society.
The title of the book describes the content of the book. In terms of content, many of the things that are explained affect today’s society. Issues of ethics, politics, economy, cultural liberation, challenges and solutions to the problems facing society are in line with the present time.
So the renewal of new goals is true. For example, the Malenga Wapya have set a modern design and style. Malenga wapiya is a book that talks about various social issues such as the liberation of women, the importance of agriculture, the importance of eliminating problems in society, the liberation of women, the importance of agriculture and so on.
