Science and Technology TIE Book Teachers Guide Standard III-VII PDF

Tanzania Institute of Education has prepared this guide to enable a teacher to use the syllabus for Science and Technology of 2020 effectively.

This teacher’s guide aims to enable the teacher to implement changes to the syllabus of a Science and Technology subject that emphasizes building competences in teaching and learning so that the student can effectively deal with the life challenges in a surrounding environment .

Teacher, when using this guide you are advised to consider all the outlined elements in order to translate the syllabus requirements in teaching and learning activities within the classroom and outside the classroom.

This guide comprises of seven main chapters, which are introductory, use of curriculum materials, teaching and learning in inclusive class as well as teaching and learning of Science and Technology.

Other chapters are preparing to teach, assessing learning of the lesson and worked examples in development of competences.

Therefore, the teacher is encouraged to use this guide as a precious treasure for teaching subject effectively.
