RUKWA LIST OF COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES 2026/2027 BY TCU

According to the 2026/2027 Bachelor’s Degree Admission Guidebook published by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU), Rukwa Region does not have any TCU-recognized university or university college with its main campus located in the region.

However, Rukwa Region has several colleges and training institutions that offer certificate and diploma programmes. These institutions are generally regulated by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) or other professional regulatory bodies rather than TCU.

They include:

Teachers’ colleges
Health and Allied Sciences colleges
Technical and vocational colleges
Community development colleges
Agricultural training institutes
