Zanzibar Standard Seven Examination Timetable 2026: The Zanzibar Standard Seven National Examination (Darasa la Saba) for 2026 will be held from Monday, 12 October to Friday, 16 October 2026. Subjects include English, Mathematics, Kiswahili, Science, Social Studies, Arabic, Religious Studies, and Creative Arts.

What You Should Understand?

Purpose: These exams assess mastery of core subjects and special subjects unique to Zanzibar (Arabic, Religious Studies).
Difference from Mainland Tanzania: Unlike NECTA’s PSLE (two days in September), Zanzibar exams span five days and include additional subjects.
Candidate Requirements: Students must present their official exam number and arrive at least 30 minutes before each paper.

Notes for Candidates

Exams run from 12–16 October 2026 with a break on 14 October (Nyerere Day).
Morning session only applies to Kiswahili on Friday, 16 October (8:00–10:30 AM).
Candidates must have a valid exam number issued by the Zanzibar Examinations Council to be allowed entry.
Any changes due to emergencies will be officially communicated by the Baraza la Mitihani la Zanzibar.
