The Form Two National Assessment (FTNA) is a formative evaluation which intends to monitor students’ learning in order to provide feedback that teachers, students and other educational stakeholders can use to improve teaching and learning.

NOTICE TO STUDENTS
1. You are required to appear for the assessment(s) at the centre(s) under which you are registered, unless otherwise advised in
writing by the Council.
2. You must follow all instructions given by the Supervisor, Invigilators, or Officers of the Council responsible for conducting the
assessments.
3. You are required to report to the assessment room/hall punctually at the time indicated on your timetable. If you arrive more than
30 minutes after the assessment has been commenced, you will not be allowed to enter into assessment room.
4. You may leave the assessment room temporarily only after the first 30 minutes and only with the permission of the invigilator.
5. You may bring into the assessment room only the books, papers, or instruments that are specifically permitted. If you are
suspected of cheating, attempting to cheat, or assisting someone else to cheat, the incident will be reported to the Council. As a
result, you may be disqualified from the assessment and excluded from all future assessments conducted by the Council. Any
notes or other unauthorised materials may be retained by the Council at its discretion.
6. Communication, verbal or otherwise, between/among students is strictly prohibited during the assessment. If you need to
communicate, raise your hand to attract the attention of the invigilator.
7. Write your assessment number correctly on every page of your answer booklet/sheet. Using someone else’s assessment number
is considered dishonest and may result in the cancellation of your assessment results. Do not write your name, initials, or any
other identifying marks on the answer booklet/sheet.
8. If you are found guilty of dishonesty in connection with the assessment, you may be disqualified from the entire assessment.
9. Do not destroy any paper or materials supplied in the assessment room. Also, do not take anything from the assessment room
unless explicitly instructed to do so.
10. Write all answers in the language specified unless instructed otherwise.
11. All writing must be done in blue or black ink or ball point pen. All drawings must be done in pencil unless instructed otherwise.
12.Smoking is strictly prohibited in the assessment room.
13. Each student must sit for the assessments which they are registered.
14. During preparations for practical assessments, the area surrounding laboratories, workshops, or fields must be secured. All
registered students must be held in a designated room(s) from 7:00 a.m. until the beginning of the assessment.
15. Each of the private candidates must bring an identification letter authorizing them to sit for the specific assessment at the
designated centre. Without this letter, they will not be allowed to take the assessment. However, they are strictly prohibited from
writing anything on the letter.
