This textbook, Physics for Secondary Schools, is written specifically for Form Three students in the United Republic of Tanzania.
It is written in accordance with the 2007 Physics Syllabus for Ordinary Secondary Education, Form I–IV, issued by the then Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.

Each chapter contains illustrations, exercises, activities and answers to numerical questions.
You are encouraged to do all the activities, projects, tasks and exercises as well as other assignments that your teacher will provide.
Doing so will enable you to develop the intended competencies.
