The Earth (Dunia) is a celestial body on which we humans and many other living creatures live , obtaining our needs, starting with healthy air and water .
Earth is one of the eight planets orbiting our Sun in outer space . Of the planets in the Solar System , our Earth is the third planet from the Sun.
The distance between it and the Sun is 150 million kilometers or 1 astronomical unit. The Earth takes 365.256 days to orbit the Sun, and 23.9345 hours to rotate on its axis and its diameter is 12,756 kilometers.
Steps to find the cardinal points using a compass
(a) Get your compass or download a compass app;
(b) click on the compass app and make sure your compass needle is pointing towards North (North);
(c) when the compass needle is pointing towards North, turn in that direction. This will help you to find the direction of North by knowing which way the compass needle is pointing; and
(d) once you have found the direction of North, you can find the other cardinal points. For example, South will be behind you, East will be to your right and West will be to your left.
