The Form Two National Assessment (FTNA) is a formative evaluation which intends to monitor students’ learning in order to provide feedback that teachers, students and other educational stakeholders can use to improve teaching and learning.
The Board of Examinations has conducted a Review of Grades, Scores, Proficiency Levels and the use of Continuous Marks (CA) in the assessment and examination of Primary, Secondary and Teacher education and made improvements based on the improvements made in the Education and Training Policy of the year 2014 edition for 2023 and updated Curriculum for 2023. Form Two National Assessment (FTNA)
The Form Two National Test (FTNA) and Form Four Examination (CSEE) are in two main groups (02) which are the General Stream and the Practical Stream. Thus, the processing and delivery of results will be based on the relevant Education stream.

The Form Two National Test (FTNA) Mkondo wa Jumla na Mkondo wa Amali
Grades of success and achievement of marks will be used to process the results of the student who took the National Examination of Form Two based on seven (07) subjects out of eight (08) to ten (10) for the General stream and between eight subjects ( 08) or nine (09) for the course of action that he has successfully completed. The grade of success, the achievement of marks, grades of success and levels of competence.
