400 Teaching Vacancies at TAMISEMI June 2026, The Prime Minister’s Office – RALGM in collaboration with Educate! Tanzania through the project to improve the teaching and learning of the Business Studies subject is implementing an intervention to improve the teaching and learning of the Business Studies subject. ANNOUNCEMENT OF 400 positions for volunteer (contract) teachers in Business Studies for Secondary Schools in the following regions: Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Simiyu, Kagera, Geita, Tabora, Dodoma, Morogoro, Pwani, and Dar es Salaam.

The aim of this project is to ensure the implementation of the Education and Training Policy of 2014, version 2023, and the improved Secondary Education Curriculum that directs the teaching of Business Education to increase entrepreneurial skills in students.

Therefore, Degree graduates from Government-recognized institutions are invited to apply to volunteer to teach Business in secondary schools that will be listed through the Official Employment Application System through the Office of the Prime Minister – TALIMISEMI.

The application period is from June to 14 June, 2026.

Volunteer (contract) teachers who meet the criteria will be arranged and managed by the Local Government Authorities.

Qualified applicants should submit applications through the link ajira.tamisemi.go.tz.

This advertisement is for graduates of Bachelor of Education in Business Studies and Degree in Business-related fields or Economics from institutions recognized by the Government.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

Applicants for these positions are required to have the following qualifications:

1. Degree from a government-recognized institution in one of the following fields:

Bachelor of Education in Business Studies/BusinessEducation
Bachelor of Commerce- BCom
Bachelor of Business Administration -BBA
Bachelor of Economics or Bachelor of Arts in Economics
Bachelor of Other Business-Related Fields

2. Basic business knowledge, even if no teaching experience.

3 Ability to use a computer for basic teaching and learning activities.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR JOB APPLICANTS

(i) Be a citizen of Tanzania;

(ii) Be not more than 42 years of age;

(iii) Attach a copy of Birth Certificate, Form Four and or Form Six, and the Subject of Study.

(iv) Be willing to work in Secondary Schools with a high demand for teachers.

(v) The selected applicant will not be allowed to change the previously assigned center or school during the implementation of this volunteer program.

(vi) Not be an employee of the Government or other Institution,

(vii) Have never been dismissed or retired from the Public Service for misconduct;

(viil) Have a National Identification Number (NIDA);

(ix) Applicants should attach the necessary documents in the system;

(x) All applicants who have completed their Secondary Education abroad are required to obtain an
Equivalent Number starting with the letters EQ… from the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) and those who have studied in foreign institutions; and

(xi) Attach a letter of application.
