Culture, Art and Sports TIE Book Standard One

This is the fi rst book in a series of two books for Sport and Art for primary schools. The book is prepared according to the 2016 Basic Education Syllabus for Standard one issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The book introduces the subject areas of Sports, Games and Arts. Sports and Games covered in this book include simple games, physical exercises and traditional games.

There are also athletics and ball games. Artistic activities include drawing, colouring, moulding of letters, objects and numbers. Other artistic activities are printing, singing, storytelling and acting. The book allows you to participate in sports, games and perform various artistic activities. The book consists of questions and exercises which will enable you to learn more about sport and art.
