What is classroom management?
Classroom management refers to all of the things that a teacher does to organize students, space, time, and materials so that learning can take place effectively
Are that set of activities by which the teacher establishes classroom conditions that facilitate effective instructions.
Characteristics of well-managed classrooms
1. Students are deeply involved with their work especially academic, teacher-led instruction
2. Students know what is expected of them and are generally successful
3. There is relatively little wasted time, confusion, or disruption
4. The climate of the classroom is work-oriented but relaxed and pleasant
Records teachers keep include;
1. Students attendance
2. Students behaviour
3. Work/teaching plans
4. Exams/assignments/Students academic progress
5. Seating charts
6. Class equipments/materials
