Chamwino District, Dodoma: Chamwino District Council is one of the eight local government authorities in Dodoma region. It lies on the central plateau of Tanzania in the western bearing along Dar es Salaam road.
The district has a total area of 8,056 km. square.
Administratively the district council is divided into 5 divisions 36 wards, 107 villages and 820 hamlets there are also two parliamentary electoral constituencies namely Chilonwa, and Mtera.

Chamwino District is one of the seven districts of the Dodoma Region of Tanzania.
It is bordered to the north by Chemba District, to the east by Manyara Region, Kongwa District and Mpwapwa District, to the south by Iringa Region, and to the west by Singida Region, Bahi District and Dodoma District. Its administrative seat is the town of Chamwino.
According to the 2012 Tanzania National Census, the population of Chamwino District was 330,543.[1] By 2022, the population of the district had grown to 486,176

The National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) is a corporate body established pursuant to NACTVET Act, Cap. 129, to coordinate and regulate the provision of technical and vocational education and training.
The Council regulates an efficient national qualifications system that will ensure that products from technical and vocational institutions are of high quality and respond to changing needs as well as technological innovations in the world.
Technical and Vocational Education and Training in this context is defined as “Education and training undertaken by students to equip them to play roles requiring higher levels of skills, knowledge and understanding and in which they take responsibility for their areas of specialization”.
NACTVET is thus, a multidisciplinary and multi-sectoral body empowered to oversee and coordinate the provision of Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Tanzania.
