This assessment format is a revised version of the one issued in 2017 by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
The format is based on the Geography Syllabus for Ordinary Secondary Education issued in 2005.
Changes that have been made in this format are the improvement of the assessment rubric and the inclusion of a table of specifications. Apart from these improvements, there is no change in the assessment contents.
