ANNOUNCEMENT OF TEMPORARY VACANCIES OF POLLING STATIONS EXECUTIVES FOR THE 2025 GENERAL ELECTION
For the purposes of the conduct of the general election and in accordance with the provisions of section 6 (6) of the Presidential, Parliamentary and Councillor Elections Act No. 1 of
2024, read with regulation 10(1) of the Presidential, Parliamentary and Councilor Elections Regulations 2025
The Director of Elections invites applications from Tanzanians with qualifications and ability to fill the following positions; –
1. Polling Station Managers.
2. Assistant Polling Station Managers.
3. Polling Guide Clerks.
A. QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS FOR THE POSITIONS OF POLLING STATION MANAGERS OR POLLING STATION ASSISTANTS
i) be a citizen of Tanzania;
ii) have attained the age of 18 years;
iii) not be a leader of a political party;
iv) be honest, obedient and of sound mind;
v) must have completed Form Four (4) or above and be able to read and write in Swahili or English. Also, be able to read and understand the Instructions for Polling Station Managers; and
vi) must be a resident of the ward in which he/she is applying to work.
