The National Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (NACTVET) informs the public that enrollment of students for the 2025/2026 academic year at the certificate and diploma levels in all courses overseen by NACTVET has officially opened, May 28, 2025.

Applications for enrollment for non-health and integrated science courses, as well as health and integrated science courses offered at universities in Zanzibar, should be sent directly to the respective universities from May 28 to July 11, 2025.

IMPORTANT NOTES TO ALL APPLICANTS

In due course of application, you must have a VALID working email address; and mobile phone number.
Kindly select your most preferred Programme according to your qualifications.
You can select up to 12 institutions/programmes.
The Application Fees is Tshs.15,000/= per institution and maximum of Tshs.45,000/= for the rest of the choices (Non-refundable).
You will be issued a Control Number for the payment of the Application Fees.
The payment can be made through Mobile Money services or Bank.

Categories and Application Procedures

There are two main pathways for application, depending on the nature and location of the course.

1. Courses Outside Health and Allied Sciences + All Courses in Zanzibar

Application Mode: Directly to the respective colleges.
Application Dates: 28 May – 11 July 2025.

2. Health and Allied Sciences Courses in Mainland Tanzania

Application Mode: Central Admission System (CAS) via tvetims.nacte.go.tz/.
Application Dates: 28 May – 11 July 2025.

Things to Consider for Those Applying Through the Central Admission System (CAS):

1. An applicant can apply to more than one college. Selection at the college they applied to will depend on the competition present at that college.

2. Once selected, the applicant will receive a message from NACTVET via the phone number they provided in the system during the application. The message will inform them that they have been selected to join a specific college (college name), and it will include a code that they must keep and present to the chosen college on the day they go to start their studies.

3. After submitting the code at the college, they will be registered by the college, after which they will receive a message from NACTVET confirming their registration.

4. After registration, the student should visit the NACTVET website (www.nactvet.go.tz), and then verify their registration by checking their information by clicking on the link labeled ‘student’s information verification.’

Things to Consider for Direct Applicants to Universities:

1. An applicant may apply to more than one university. Selection at the chosen university will depend on the competition present at that university.

2. Once selected by a university, that university will submit the applicant’s information to NACTVET for verification. The applicant will receive a message informing them that their information has been submitted to NACTVET by the university for verification.

3. After their information has been verified, they will receive a message from NACTVET notifying them that they have been verified, and they will have a code that they will need to use to check their verification information. They should also keep that code safe and present it to the university they have chosen on the day they go to that university to start their studies.

4. After submitting that code to the university, they will be registered by the university, and then they will receive a message from NACTVET informing them that they have been registered.

5. After registration, the student is required to visit the NACTVET website (www.nactvet.go.tz), and then confirm that they are registered by verifying its information by clicking the link that reads ‘student’s information verification’

You may apply to more than one institution.
Notification of Selection
If selected, you will receive an SMS with:
- The name of the institution
- A unique verification code
Verification at the Institution
Present the verification code at your chosen college to register.
Online Confirmation
Visit www.nactvet.go.tz and click on “student’s information verification” to confirm your registration.
