CAS Application of Second Window 2026 – NACTVET refers to the second application round in the Central Admission System (CAS) managed by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET). This window gives eligible applicants another opportunity to apply for available Certificate and Diploma programmes after the first selection round.

Second Window Timeline (2026/2027)

According to the official CAS portal, the Second Window application deadline is 21 August 2026. Applicants should submit or update their applications before the deadline.

Who Can Apply?

The second window is intended for:

Applicants who did not apply during the first window.
Applicants who were not selected in the first round.
Applicants who want to change their programme or institution choices where the system allows.
Eligible candidates seeking admission to programmes that still have vacant positions

How to Apply

Log in using your CAS account.
Review institutions and programmes with available spaces.
Select or update your preferred programme(s) and institution(s).
Confirm your application and submit it before the deadline.
Monitor your account and SMS notifications for selection updates.

Requirements

To apply, you generally need:

A valid CSEE (Form Four) qualification that meets programme entry requirements.
A registered CAS account.
A valid mobile phone number and email address.
Payment of the required application fee (where applicable)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

In due course of application, you must have a VALID working email address; and mobile phone number.
Kindly select your most preferred Programme according to your qualifications.
You can select up to 12 institutions/programmes.
The Application Fees is Tshs.15,000/= per institution and maximum of Tshs.45,000/= for the rest of the choices (Non-refundable).
You will be issued a Control Number for the payment of the Application Fees.
The payment can be made through Mobile Money services or Bank.
