CALCULATION OF PROFIT MADE, BUYING AND SELLING PRICE

The following should be well known:

  1. Profit made = selling price – buying price
  2. Loss made = buying price – selling price
  3. Buying price = selling price +loss made
  4. Selling price = buying price – loss made OR
  5. Selling price = Buying price + profit made
  6. If the selling price is greater than buying price, the business has made profit (profit made)
  7. If the buying price is greater than the selling price, the business has made loss. (loss made)
