These Physics Notes for Secondary Schools is written specifically for Form One students in the United Republic of Tanzania. The notes is prepared in accordance with the 2023 Physics Syllabus for Ordinary Secondary Education, Form I-IV, issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST).

It is a revised notes of Physics for Secondary Schools Student’s for Form One that was prepared in accordance with the 2023 Physics syllabus issued by the then Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (MoEVT).

What is physics?

Physics is the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy. The subject matter of physics includes mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and the structure of atoms.
