The Public Service Volunteering Guide is an important resource that sets out the process for Public Institutions and Youth who are graduating from Colleges and applying for volunteer positions to gain knowledge and experience in various activities carried out by the Government while they await employment.

SIFA ZA KIJANA WA KUJITOLEA SERIKALINI

Qualifications for a Young Volunteer are as follows:-

i. Be a Tanzanian citizen aged 18 years and not exceeding 35 years;

ii. Be a graduate of a Certificate of Education at the level ofA Certificate, Diploma or Degree from a recognized
Institution by the Government;

iii. Be a legitimate holder of professional certificates;

iv. Have two guarantors who are Public servants;

v. Have a letter from the Village/Subdistrict/Local Government Executive;

vi. Be willing to volunteer in the relevant area;

vii. Have never been convicted by a Court for criminal or disciplinary offences;

viii. Have good conduct and character acceptable to the community; and

ix. Have never been employed in any Public Institution since graduating.
