ABOUT International Medical and Technological University – IMTU

East African countries have a long history of cooperation in cultural and socioeconomic areas. Between 1947 and 1967 the cooperation was facilitated by East Africa (High Commission) Orders in Council.

The establishment of the East African Common Services in 1961, resulted in an important milestone for cooperation in health; the establishment of the East African Medical Research Council (EAMRC) in 1962.

The EAMRC was established through the enactment of Act No 14 of 1962, which was signed on behalf of the East African Common Services, with the advice and consent of the East African Central Legislative Assembly, by H.E. Julius Nyerere, the President of Tanganyika; Hon. W.F. Coutts, the Governor-General of Uganda; and Hon. Malcolm MacDonald, the Governor of Kenya.

You need to follow these steps to view you application status:

1. Visit the official University or TCU admission website

2. Go to the ‘Login’ section on the home page of the college website.

3. Log in to your account that you used to apply to join University by entering your Username and Password to access your account.

4. Once you log into your account, you will be welcomed by a message informing you of your application status. If you have been selected, you will see a message saying “Congratulations, you have been selected to join University for the 2024-2025 academic year.”

5. If you have been selected by more than one university, you will see a message indicating that you have Multiple Admission; please confirm your admission. If you have not been selected, you will see a message informing you that you have not been selected and the reason for not being selected.

6. By following these steps, you will be able to check your admission application status at University.
