The Higher Education Students’ Loans Board (HESLB) is a body corporate established under Act No.9 of 2004 (as amended in 2007, 2014 and 2016) with the objective of assisting needy and eligible Tanzania students to access loans and grants for higher education
Steps for HESLB OLAMS Refund Application Process
1. Visit official HESLB Website https://www.heslb.go.tz/
2. Scroll downward the click OLAMS
3. Go to Loan Beneficiaries then click Apply For Refund
4. if you have an already existing account enter your username and password then click Log in but If you don’t have account click Signup now and fill the required information.

Required Information:
i. Select your Sign up types as Refund Application
ii. Choose if you Have A Form 4 Index Number by selecting Yes
iii. Enter Your Form Four Index Number and year of completion as S4125.0000.2025
iv. Enter you valid Email Address that you will use to receive information
v. Enter your Valid Phone Number for easy commutations
v. Create your own Password which you will remember
- Password Hints: Your Password should contain Capital Letter, Number and Characters with the length not less than 8 characters.
5. Log in to your account and Star application for refund.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR HESLB OLAMS Refund Application
Attachments are: –
1. Any ID with your photo and name.
2. Form Four Certificate/Certificates.
3. College Certificate/Certificates.
4. Salary slip with (showing) HESLB deductions.
5. Scan Letter given to you by HESLB to end/stop deductions along with Loan Statement.
REFUND RESULTS
The verification process until payment is made is within 90 working days after the documents are reviewed and approved by the document reviewer.
