What is the NECTA SFNA?
The NECTA SFNA is an academic examination taken by primary school students in Tanzania upon completion of their fourth year.

The results determine a student’s eligibility to progress from Standard Four to Standard Five.
Dr. Said A. Mohamed, NECTA Executive Secretary, announced the results at a press conference in Dar es Salaam on Saturday January 4, 2025 from 11 am , highlighting an improvement in the overall pass rate.
