Hisabati Standard Four 2025 New Exam Format By NECTA

The Standard Four National Assessment (SFNA) is a formative evaluation which intends to monitor pupils’ learning. in order to provide feedback that teachers, students and other educational stakeholders can use to improve teaching and learning.

Examination Formats

Each subject has an examination format which describes the structure of the examination paper, and the content that the examination paper for that subject has to cover.

This format is based on the 2023 Basic Education Summary for Mathematics and will be implemented in 2025.

The format is based on the 2023 curriculum improvement, which aims to monitor the learning level of Standard III and Standard IV students in Mathematics to build the student’s ability to investigate, design, collaborate and solve problems in their environment.

Assessment in this format will consider the criteria outlined in each student’s learning activity to measure changes in knowledge, skills and attitudes to act, appreciate, narrate and apply the skills they learn in the environment around them.

The assessment for this subject will consist of six (6) questions with a total of 25 items.
