APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSION INTO ORDINARY DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING WITH TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL TEACHER EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR SEPTEMBER INTAKE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC YEAR
The Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) is an autonomous Government Agency established under the Vocational Education and Training Act, Chapter 82 charged with the duties of providing, financing and coordinating vocational education and training in the country.
Introduction
MOSHI REGIONAL VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND SERVICE CENTRE (MOSHI RVTSC) was established in 1997 by the VET Act (CAP 82), Moshi RVTSC is registered by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) as a Technical Institution with Registration Number REG/NACTVET/0560 mandated to offer Technical and Vocational Teacher Education programmes.
Admissions Information
MOSHI RVTSC hereby announces and inviting admission applications for Technical and Vocational Teacher Education programmes for Septembe. Intake 2026/2027 from applicants who possess relevant technical and/or vocational qualifications in any of the following fields/occupations but not limited to Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
NOTE: Successful applicants of Engineering with Technical and Vocational Teacher Education in Electrical Engineering are eligible to apply for loans from Higher Education Student Loans Board to cover the learning costs.
Entry Requirements
Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with a minimum pass of ‘D’ in any TWO Subjects (passes from religious subjects are not counted) and NATIONAL VOCATIONAL AWARD (NVA) Level 3 in Electrical Engineering trades from recognized Technical or Vocational Education and Training institution.
OR
Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with a minimum pass of ‘D’ in FOUR subjects, TWO of which MUST either be Mathematics, Physics/Engineering Science, Chemistry or English language or Technical Subjects from technical schools.
Duration
The duration of study for this programme will be three (3) years attended Full-Time
NOTE: Applicants with Foreign Secondary Certificates and Vocational Certifi- cates must have the National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) and NACTVET Equivalence translations respectively.

The Ordinary Diploma in Electrical Engineering with Technical and Vocational Teacher Education (NTA Level 4 – 6) will be offered through In-Campus mode,
