MESP TZ Grade Four Continuous Assessment Test I 2026
A Grade Four Continuous Assessment Test (CAT) is a regular test given during the school year to check how well Standard Four (Grade 4) pupils are learning. Grade Four (Standard Four) → Fourth year of primary school and Continuous Assessment → Ongoing evaluation throughout the term/year, Test (CAT) → A short exam done regularly (not final).
Purpose of Grade Four Continuous Assessment Test
These tests help to:
- Monitor student progress continuously
- Identify weak areas early
- Help teachers improve their teaching
- Prepare students for bigger exams like end-of-term or national exams
