NECTA releases May 2026 Diploma in Secondary Education Examination (DSEE) timetable. THE National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) has officially released the timetable for the Diploma in Secondary Education Examination scheduled to take place in May 2026.
NECTA is a government institution established by Law in 1973 with the responsibility of administering national examinations in Tanzania.
Before 1973, all national examinations were administered by the Curriculum and Examinations Section of the Ministry of Education after Mainland Tanzania had pulled out of the East African Examinations Council in 1971.

The release of the timetable marks an important step for diploma candidates nationwide as they prepare to complete their academic assessments.
