Curriculum as experience – Sees curriculum as a set of experiences learners encounter in educational context. They are purposely planned by means of the written curriculum under the guidance of the school (or college).

Organization of learning experiences

Each learning experience should be built upon earlier ones (vertical organization) and should be reinforced by activities in other subjects (horizontal organization).

Incorporates the idea of horizontal and vertical organization into three criteria: continuity, sequence and integration.
