Geita Region NACTVET Colleges and Institutions

Geita Region was officially established by Government Proclamation No. 72 dated 02 March, 2012, and inaugurated on 08 November, 2013 by His Excellency Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, Retired President of the United Republic of Tanzania.

This region was formed from parts of Mwanza, Kagera and Shinyanga Regions where it borders Kagera Region to the West and South, Shinyanga Region to the South and South East and Mwanza Region to the North.

ABOUT NACTVET

The National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) is a corporate body established pursuant to NACTVET Act, Cap. 129, to coordinate and regulate the provision of technical and vocational education and training.

The Council regulates an efficient national qualifications system that will ensure that products from technical and vocational institutions are of high quality and respond to changing needs as well as technological innovations in the world.
