Tunduma and Ileje Form Two Joint Pre-National Exams 2025
Form Two Joint Pre-National Exams are preparatory examinations given to Form Two students in Tanzania before the official Form Two National Assessment (FTNA) conducted by NECTA.
Form Two Joint Pre-National Exams are combined practice exams set and administered by a group of schools, a district, a zone, or a region.
They are called “Joint” because many schools sit for the same exam paper at the same time, helping compare performance across schools.
Main Purposes of Form Two Joint Pre-National Exams
- Preparation for NECTA FTNA: To help students practice with real exam-style questions.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses: Teachers and students can know which subjects or topics need improvement.
- Improve teaching and learning: Results guide teachers in reviewing difficult topics.
- Promote competition: Encourages schools to improve performance by comparing results.
