ABOUT PSLE EXAMINATION

This is a selection test which enables the government to select form one entrants for its schools. Students who get selected and those not selected receive certificates. PSLE is administered in the second week of September every year.

The Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) is one of the final assessment tools of Primary Education which, among other things, shows the level of competencies achieved by the candidates for seven years.

Also, this evaluation is done to measure academic progress and provide feedback to teachers, pupils and other stakeholders of education. In addition, the report aims to help stakeholders solve the challenges identified in the PSLE results in order to improve performance in the future examinations.

English Language CIRA PSLE 2024 Candidates Response Analysis Books

Candidates’ Item Response Analysis (CIRA) is a report that evaluates the candidates’ responses in the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) conducted in September 2024.

This report provides a feedback to all education stakeholders on the factors that influenced candidates’ correct and incorrect responses to English Language examination questions.

The report presents a comprehensive analysis of Candidates’ responses in English Language subject in the PSLE 2024.

English Language examination was set in accordance with the 2015 English Language Subject Syllabus and the 2024 English Language subject examination format.
