ABOUT PSLE EXAMINATION

This is a selection test which enables the government to select form one entrants for its schools. Students who get selected and those not selected receive certificates. PSLE is administered in the second week of September every year.

The Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) is one of the final assessment tools of Primary Education which, among other things, shows the level of competencies achieved by the candidates for seven years.

Also, this evaluation is done to measure academic progress and provide feedback to teachers, pupils and other stakeholders of education. In addition, the report aims to help stakeholders solve the challenges identified in the PSLE results in order to improve performance in the future examinations.

Sayansi na Teknolojia CIRA PSLE 2024 Candidates Response Analysis Books

The Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) 2024 for Science and Technology subject assessed all the main and specific competencies as stipulated in the 2016 Science and Technology syllabus for Standard III – VII. Examination was set as per the 2024 examination format. The examination paper consisted of eight (08) questions divided into Sections A, B and C.

Section A consisted of three (3) questions containing multiple choices, matching items as well as completing a sentence by selecting the correct words from the box. Section B contained three (3) short answer questions while section C contained two (2) questions based on interpreting a picture and assessing calculation skills.
