About MUHAS
The Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) started as the Dar es salaam medical school in 1963. The school then transformed into the faculty of medicine of the university of Dar es salaam that in 1991 was upgraded and became a college–the Muhimbili University College of Health Sciences (MUCHS).
In 1996, the Faculty of Medicine that was upgraded to a constituent College of the University of Dar es Salaam, with the aim of nurturing it to a full-fledged university later on was merged with the Muhimbili hospital to create the Muhimbili Medical Centre (MMC)

- Candidates in this group have been admitted at MUHAS but they have also been admitted into other Higher Learning Institutions (HLIs) as published and announced by Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
- Candidates in this category are required to log into their MUHAS Online Application System Account and confirm their admission to MUHAS before 10th September, 2025.
- Failure to confirm by the deadline date will indicate that you have NOT accepted our offer and your slot will be filled by other pending qualified applicants.
- Please note that, admission letter and other admission documents will only be accessible to candidates upon confirmation to join our University

The following candidates have been selected to join various Degree Programs for academic year 2025/2026 at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) Round I.
