About NECTA?
NECTA is a government institution established by Law in 1973 with the responsibility of administering national examinations in Tanzania.
Before 1973, all national examinations were administered by the Curriculum and Examinations Section of the Ministry of Education after Mainland Tanzania had pulled out of the East African Examinations Council in 1971.
WHAT IS ACSEE?
ACSEE Stands for Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination. This is offered to candidates who have completed two years of advanced level secondary education and have at least three credits in their CSEE. The ACSEE is administered in the first week of May every year.
Eligibility for the Examination
This examination is for candidates who have completed two years of advanced level secondary education (Advanced level) and who had at least three credits in their CSEE.
