KKK 2023 PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS BOOKS 3RS REPORTS
The National Examinations Council of Tanzania conducted the Standard Two National Assessment in 2023 on Reading, Writing and Arithmetic Skills (3Rs) on 31st January, 2024 to 1%t February, 2024.
The aim of this assessment was to determine pupils’ ability in mastering those skills. Each skill assessed pupils’ ability in various concepts.
For example, pupils were assessed on reading fluency and speed as well as their ability to comprehend while reading before answering questions in Reading Skills.
In Writing Skills, pupils were assessed on their ability to form words using pictures, writing the words in capital and small letters. Also, they were assessed on their ability to copy a passage and use punctuation marks appropriately.
