KIPCO Standard Four Assessment Examination June 2025
The Standard Four Assessment Examination (SFNA) is a national exam in Tanzania administered by the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
Purpose of the Standard Four Assessment:
To assess pupils’ basic knowledge, skills, and competencies gained from Standard One to Four.
To measure mastery in reading, writing, arithmetic, and other core subjects.
To identify pupils’ strengths and weaknesses early, so teachers and parents can provide support before Standard Seven (PSLE).
To prepare learners for higher primary education (Standard Five–Seven).
