What Are Standard Three Annual Exams?
Standard Three Annual Exams are end-of-year tests given to pupils in Class Three to assess how well they have learned the subjects taught throughout the year. Schools in Tanzania use these exams to measure pupils’ understanding and to prepare them for the next class.
Purpose of Standard Three Annual Exams
- Check understanding of all topics taught during the year.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of each pupil.
- Help teachers plan better teaching for the following year.
- Prepare pupils for Standard Four National Assessments (SFNA) in future classes.
