The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) was established under the Parliamentary Act No. 21 of 1973 with the responsibility of administering all National Examinations and Assessments in Tanzania.

Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE)

This is offered to candidates who have completed two years of advanced level secondary education and have at least three credits in their CSEE

The Examination Calendar

The ACSEE is administered in the first week of May every year.

This examination is for candidates who have completed two years of advanced level secondary education (Advanced level) and who had at least three credits in their CSEE.
