1. Standard Four National Assessment (Darasa la Nne)
The Standard Four National Assessment (SFNA) is a formative evaluation which intends to monitor pupils’ learning. in order to provide feedback that teachers, students and other educational stakeholders can use to improve teaching and learning.

2. Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) (Darasa la Saba)
This is a selection test which enables the government to select form one entrants for its schools. Students who get selected and those not selected receive certificates.

3. Form Two National Assessment (kidato cha Pili)
The Form Two National Assessment (FTNA) is a formative evaluation which intends to monitor students’ learning in order to provide feedback that teachers, students and other educational stakeholders can use to improve teaching and learning.

4. Certificate of Secondary Education Examination(CSEE) (Kidato cha Nne - Form Four)
This is an achievement test offered to candidates who have completed four years of secondary education.

5. Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) (Kidato cha Sita - Form Six)
This is offered to candidates who have completed two years of advanced level secondary education and have at least three credits in their CSEE
