What is Examination?
Examination is a formal test that you take to show your knowledge or ability in a particular subject, or to obtain a qualification.
Examination in education is defined as the evaluation of the understanding of the knowledge of a person. The assessment can be done in the form of a formal test.
The objectives of Primary School Examinations are :
1. To assess learners' skills and knowledge gained in the different subjects at primary school level
2. To assess learners understanding of the basic skills and abilities in reading, writing and arithmetic and the extent that they can use such skills in solving pertinent problems in life
3. To identify learners with the capacity to continue with secondary education and other training institutions.
